The welfare of Madrasah Aliyah teachers is a critical concern that should be prioritized by school management, considering the demanding nature of their work. It is essential that their compensation and workload align appropriately to prevent exploitation and ensure their well-being and satisfaction. This thesis aims to examine the legal protection for Madrasah Aliyah Ma'had Al-Zaytun teachers under Law No. 13 of 2003, as well as to explore the implementation of teacher welfare according to Islamic law. This research employs a field study methodology with a qualitative approach. Data collection methods include interviews, observations, and documentation. The findings reveal that legal protections for Madrasah Aliyah Ma'had Al-Zaytun teachers, as stipulated in Law No. 13 of 2003, have been adequately provided, including the right to fair compensation, leave entitlements, and opportunities for professional development through training, seminars, and other activities. From an Islamic legal perspective, the welfare of Madrasah Aliyah teachers at Ma'had Al-Zaytun in 2023 has also been adequately addressed, including fair wages from the Mosque Welfare Institution (LKM), allowances from local government, and access to adequate housing and facilities.
