Cu-Catalyzed Site-Selective and Enantioselective Ring\nOpening of Cyclic Diaryliodoniums with 1,2,3-Triazoles

Abstract

A Cu-catalyzed\nenantioselective ring-opening/triazolylation reaction\nis reported. The reaction shows excellent chemoselectivity regarding\nthe three different nitrogen atoms of 1,2,3-triazoles. The optically\nenriched axially chiral aryl iodides thus obtained were readily derivatized\nto different types of chiral phosphine ligands and their corresponding\ncopper or palladium complexes.
