A study on the spectrophotometric determination of iron(III) with Chromazurol S

Abstract

クロムアズロールS(以下CASと略記;H4Lで示す)は,鉄(III)と反応してpH2以下で2:1(Fe2L2+)および1:1(FeHL)錯体を生成し,pH4以上で過剰のCASの存在において,1:2(FeL25-)および1:3(FeL39-)錯体を生成する.錯体中の鉄は,CASの水酸基-カルボキシル基側の酸素に配位する.1:3錯体は630mμに吸収極大をもち,pH5.5~5.9,CAS1.03×10-3M以上で吸光度は最高になり一定値を与える,0.08~1.8ppmにわたりベールの法則に従い,モル吸光係数は5.5×104であり,吸光度0.001に対する感度は0.0009μg Fe/cm2である.
