The hospitality industry has transformed with the integration of emerging technologies like Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR), and the Metaverse, enhancing guest engagement and creating unique experiences through gamification. VR allows guests to virtually explore hotel rooms and amenities, while also offering staff training in customer service and emergency procedures. AR enriches the experience by providing interactive elements like digital guides, location-based activities, and loyalty programs, fostering guest satisfaction and loyalty. The Metaverse offers vast potential by enabling virtual hotels, events, and social interactions, creating new revenue streams. However, challenges such as high costs, technology accessibility, and user discomfort remain. Despite these obstacles, the integration of these technologies promises to provide personalized, engaging, and memorable experiences, transforming the industry by blending the digital and physical worlds.
