With the arrival of technology in education, several modalities of distance learning were created, one of them or blended learning where it combines face-to-face and distance activities that are carried out through digital information and communication technologies, having different ways of combining these activities, being the flipped classroom with one of them.In this approach, the content and information are not transmitted by the teacher, the material is studied by the student before going to the classroom, as it becomes a place of active learning with the support of the teacher and the collaboration of colleagues in the resolution. of projects and discussions.The objective of this work will be to analyze the concepts used for the development of e-learning proposals such as blended flipped classroom and the role of the teacher in this context.The flipped classroom as an active learning methodology.The work was written based on bibliographic research and study, with data and information also collected on websites according to the proposed theme.
