On the Design of Robust H/spl infin/ Memory and Memoryless Tracking Controllers for a Class of Linear Time Delay Systems with Time-Varying Uncertainties

Abstract

In this paper, the problem of robust tracking and model following for a class of uncertain time delay systems subjected to parametric uncertainties is addressed. Necessary and sufficient conditions are established to guarantee the existence of simple and easily implementable linear robust H infin memory and memoryless tracking controllers. To achieve the design purpose, two different constructive methods are proposed. Finally, the viability and the efficiency of the obtained results are clearly illustrated through some numerical simulations
