Abstract

Abstract This paper describes the measurement of a complex dielectric constant by a resonance method using a rectangular cavity (cross section 3.48 × 1.58 cm 2 and length 8.3 cm) filled with two layers of dielectric materials (the upper layer is air). the experiments are performed in the range of 7 GHz and the test materials are methacrylate and polystyrene sheets.
