Syntheses with stable isotopes: Acetylene‐¹³C₂ and lithium acetylide‐¹³C₂ ethylenediamine complex

Abstract

Abstract Acetylene‐ 13 C 2 has been prepared from carbon‐ 13 C dioxide and molten lithium following hydrolisis of the resulting lithium carbide‐ 13 C 2 . The stable ethylenediamine complex of lithium acetylide‐ 13 C 2 has been obtained from the reaction of acetylene‐ 13 C 2 with N ‐lithioethylenediamine.
