Abstract

Abstract Coupling constants between 11 B and 13 C, 13 C and 1 H, and 11 B and 1 H were obtained for LiB(CH 3 ) 4 in 1,2‐dimethoxyethane, in which the anion B(CH 3 ) is belived to exist as a separate ion pair. The correlations of the coupling constants with the effective nuclear charge of boron, and with the s character of the BC bond, are discussed.
