EFEKTIVITAS LEMBAR KERJA PESERTA DIDIK (LKPD) BERBASIS KEARIFAN LOKAL DENGAN PENDEKATAN KONTEKSTUAL PADA MATERI BIOTEKNOLOGI

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of student worksheets (LKPD) based on local wisdom witha contextual approach to biotechnology material in terms of students' learning outcomes. The method usedis quantitative with a "pretest-posttest with a control group" design. The subjects of this study were 37 ninthgradestudents at SMP Negeri 8 Sekadau Hilir, consisting of 20 students in the experimental class (IX A)and 17 students in the control class (IX B). The instruments used were pretest and posttest questions inthe form of six essay questions, as well as unstructured interviews. Data collection techniques wereconducted through written tests. Activity analysis using the N-gain formula obtained an N-gain score of55.35% (less effective) in the control class and 72.96% (quite effective) in the experimental class. Basedon the N-gain analysis, the results obtained were 0.64 (moderate), meaning that there was a significantincrease in students' understanding of biotechnology based on local wisdom.
