Abstract

Administrative burden is a policy that can hinder the community in obtaining public services. Semarang Regency Public Works Office is not immune to administrative burdens, namely, limited human resources. Work delays and lack of initiative characterize these limitations in administrative activities. These shortcomings should be supported by orderly and transparent administration so that in the future, the administrative burden in the Semarang Regency Public Works Office will be reduced. This journal was prepared using the literature study method and direct observation of the concerned parties. This journal concludes that the DPU of Semarang Regency still has several administrative burdens that must be improved considering the limitations of the human resources.
