As cloud computing continues to evolve, the adoption of multi-tenant architectures by cloud service providers has become increasingly prevalent. This structure allows multiple users or organizations (tenants) to share the same cloud resources, while maintaining isolation between them. However, the shared nature of these environments presents significant challenges in maintaining data privacy and ensuring compliance with various regulatory frameworks. This paper aims to explore the inherent challenges in securing sensitive data and complying with data privacy laws in multi-tenant cloud environments. Through a comprehensive analysis, the study identifies key issues, evaluates current solutions, and suggests best practices for managing these challenges. This research underscores the need for robust data protection strategies and compliance mechanisms that scale with the growing complexity of cloud computing architectures.
