The article is devoted to a comprehensive analysis of the application of digital technologies in the recruitment process, based on a synthesis of modern scientific research and practical experience of companies over the past 5–10 years. Special attention is paid to existing methodological approaches, the advantages and limitations of their use, as well as a comparative analysis of successful and unsuccessful implementation cases in Russian and international organizations. The article provides an overview of the challenges faced by businesses and developers when integrating these solutions, including issues of ethics, accessibility, reliability of assessment, and organizational resistance. The article concludes with systemic recommendations for businesses, developers, and the research community aimed at the effective and sustainable implementation of VR technologies, gamification, and metaverse elements in recruitment practices.
