The article deals with theoretical and experimental aspects of increasing the productivity of metal-cutting tools in cutting heat-resistant and heat-resistant chromium-nickel alloys by applying innovative wear-resistant nanostructured multilayer coatings on the cutting wedge with their subsequent laser processing. Methodically, the work was carried out in several interrelated consecutive stages: determination of the most effective grades of wear-resistant coatings; laser processing of wear-resistant coatings; carrying out high-temperature tribotechnical tests on a tribometer and wear-resistance studies during milling of heat-resistant chromium-nickel alloys.
