Abstract

(analytical)Entrepreneurship currently has a relevant position in vocational training. This study sought to identify entrepreneurial profiles among students in the Faculty of Business and Administration at the Instituto Profesional de Chile. A non-probabilistic sample of 240 students was used. The results of the research showed a high level of entrepreneurial behaviors, subjective norms, self-belief and entrepreneurial intentions, as well as the identification of four different profiles: natural entrepreneur, informal entrepreneur, entrepreneur due to necessity and non-entrepreneur. These results provide new information about entrepreneurship among young people that can be used to inform educational processes, pedagogical practices, teacher training, developing links with local settings and the design of graduate profiles for business and administration degrees.
