Innovaciones Pedagógicas Para El Fortalecimiento Del Proceso De Enseñanza-Aprendizaje Del Idioma Inglés

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to show the influence of the flipped classroom pedagogical model in the teaching of English as a foreign language. Currently, it is a necessity for students in the world to have knowledge in at least two or three languages. The teaching process should be focused on the application of new technologies that allow students to progress in their academic and personal spheres. After having the necessary theoretical foundation, the application of the instruments and the respective analysis, it was identified that the use of this model with the integration of new methodologies contributed to a real and motivated approach to language learning, achieving the acquisition of skills and an improvement in the use of the foreign language thus, the use of an innovative model allows the student’s interests to be materialized in a meaningful learning process that improves their foreign language level, achieving a decrease in the rates of demotivation and failure. This research is the result of the application of the flipped classroom methodology to the development of an academic content proposed in a curriculum for the teaching of foreign language (English) that not only remained in theoretical notions, but with the help of ICT and the elements of the methodology allowed an increase in student motivation, a practical, cooperative, contextualized and useful learning for them, but above all, it opened the possibility of continuing with innovative and efficient pedagogical processes that develop different skills of students in learning a foreign language.
