Actually the new generations are immersed in technology, engineering students are interested in topics such as home automation, IoT and TICs, so it is necessary to get them to delve into programming so that with the rest of their disciplinary knowledge according to their academic program are producers of technology and not only consumers, in this research it is intended to demonstrate that the use of Arduino to relate programming with a physical environment developing tangible projects promoting interest and more lasting learning, a sample of 265 students of the Academic Programs of Control and Computation and Mechanical Engineering of the Academic Unit of Basic Sciences and Engineering where 37.73% was taken as a representative sample, which corresponds to 100 students from both programs, it was concluded that the students have found it useful to use Arduino to elaborate their programming practices and this allowed them to relate their c Previous knowledge as well as broaden your vision in the scope of your projects.
