Physical properties of ferromagnetic Mn-doped double perovskites (DPs) Cs 2 AgInCl/Br 6 for spintronics and solar cell devices: DFT calculations

Abstract

Structural, electronic, magnetic, and transport behavior of ferromagnetic double perovskites Cs 2 AgIn 0.75 Mn 0.25 Cl/Br 6 were investigated using density functional theory. Incorporation of Mn ions causes exchange splitting induced by p–d hybridization, stabilizing the ferromagnetic state.
