Abstract

The ideals of precision farming, agronomy, and automation in the food supply chain have also been established because of robotization and agricultural advancements. The rigidity, networking, standardization, robustness, skill requirements, absence of real-time data, and actuation are some of the areas where present systems still have serious flaws. The development of robotics and independent systems was prompted using artificial intelligence, and intelligent ICT robotic systems in cyber-physical systems will be necessary. These systems can communicate, compute, track, and control physical elements and processes in a variety of operations. This system uses ICT robots equipped with the necessary sensors to monitor the entire agricultural area, transferring data to edge nodes. While the procedure was still in progress, it began updating the field and storing the information in the cloud, and it transferred updates to the farmers. This chapter explores the various developments of robotics and autonomous systems in the agricultural field.
