Sound‐Speed Modifying Acoustic Metasurfaces for Acoustic Holography (Adv. Mater. 14/2023)

Abstract

Acoustic Metasurfaces In article number 2208002, Mingxin Xu, Peter V. S. Lee, David J. Collins, and co-workers present an approach to ultrathin acoustic metasurfaces, using planarized micropillars in a discretized phase array, which can be easily produced by a single-step etching process. The flexibility of this approach is demonstrated in the production of complex acoustic patterns using acoustic holography.
