Random Subwavelength Grating Waveguide Bragg Gratings

Abstract

We demonstrate random subwavelength grating waveguide Bragg gratings based on randomizing the phase shift segments in a sampled structure. The cross-correlation coefficient between the measured reflection spectra of different devices can be as low as 0.27.
