Compartmentalization Accelerates Photosensitized NADH to NAD+ Conversion

Abstract

Abstract The front cover artwork is provided by the Pannwitz group, Institute of Inorganic Chemistry I, Ulm University (Germany). The image illustrates the effect of compartmentalization in a light‐driven conversion: The encapsulated substrate reacts directly with the short‐lived 1 O 2 photogenerated by the photosensitizer in close proximity.
