Low-loss optical coupling between polymer single-mode waveguide and single-mode fiber using 45° mirror

Abstract

The optical vertical interconnection between polymer single-mode waveguide and single- mode fiber using 45 ° mirror was fabricated, and low-loss coupling loss of as low as 5 dB was achieved without lens for conventional SMF.
