Abstract

ABSTRACT The development of the tourism sector is one of the efforts to improve the community's economy both at the local and global levels. Tourism in Indonesia is a rapidly growing industry. Problem formulation (1) How is the development of the Creative and Innovative Tourism Village model in Hendrosari Gresik Village? (2) How is the Creative and Innovative Tourism Village Strategy Based on Community Participation and Local Wisdom to Improve the Welfare of the Hendrosari Gresik Village Community?. Research Objectives (1) This research can produce a strategy model that will be compiled in the form of a Policy Paper on the Development of Creative and Innovative Tourism Village Models and Strategies in Hendrosari Gresik Village (2) Research can add to the "body of knowledge" for the community, especially those who participate in order to improve welfare and academics and government. Research findings where MSMEs in tourist areas are less feasible. The recommendations for tourist villages are (1) Providing a suitable place for MSME traders in tourist areas (2) providing training, mentoring MSMEs by taking care of PIRT and BPOM. The study used a qualitative descriptive method. Hendrosari tourism village development strategy uses SWOT analysis and SO, ST, WO and WT strategies. the study has been called batik dollop, umkm legen, umkm dilan (index of simi), herbal and Fried chickenThe conclusion of the research from Creative and Innovative Tourism is an industry that emphasizes human creativity by developing and processing raw materials in line with the development of technology, information, and lifestyle. Lifestyles that occur in society from time to time continue to change in line with the development of trends promoted through social media such as Youtube in the form of content to promote tourism.
