Parenting styles shape interaction dynamics in the family environment that determine the first behaviors with which children interact. The objective of this research was to identify the presence of disruptive behaviors in initial education boys and girls in the cantons of Santa Elena and La Libertad. The methodological aspect was developed from a quantitative approach, descriptive research, under a non-experimental design, the study population corresponds to mothers of children aged 2 to 3 years who benefit from the initial education program in Child Development Centers and children 4-year-olds who belong to Basic Education institutions of these cantons; the type of sampling was intentional non-probabilistic; In this sense, the sample was made up of 70 mothers of children who present characteristics of disruptive behaviors aged between 2 to 4 years, to whom a questionnaire-type survey developed by the researchers was applied, it is a psychometric type evaluation instrument, It has been validated through expert judgment. The results conclude that the sociodemographic variables such as age and sex do show a relationship in the manifestation of disruptive behavior, observing a higher percentage of behavioral alterations in males, in the same way, a higher prevalence is evidenced in children under 4 years of age.
