Abstract

The reaction of (μ-RS)(μ- p-MeC 6 H 4 SO 2 S)Fe 2 (CO) 6 with ( n 5 -R 1 C 5 H 4 )(CO) 3 MoSeNa gave organomolybdenum complexes ( n 5 -R 1 C 5 H 4 )(CO) 2 Mo( n 2 -S 2 R) (3a R = Et, R 1 = H; 3b R = Bu t , R 1 = MeO 2 C), the structure of 3b being determined by X-ray diffraction analysis.
