Online Learning During Covid-19 Pandemic

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of the communication process on communication effectiveness in online learning at SMA Sukma Bangsa Bireuen.This study uses the theory of CMC (Computer-Mediated Communication), limited by respondents consisting of students in classes XI, XII, and teachers of SMA Sukma Bangsa Bireuen.This type of research is a quantitative research using statistical analysis of variables in this study include the variable (X): Communication process in online learning at SMA Sukma Bangsa Bireuen and variable (Y): Effectiveness of communication in online learning at SMA Sukma Bangsa Bireuen.The total population of SMA Sukma Bangsa Bireuen includes students of class XI, XII along with teachers as many as 104 people; the determination of the sample uses the total sampling method.Data collection techniques using questionnaires indirectly.The data analysis technique used is multiple coefficient analysis using the Product Moment correlation formula and hypothesis testing using SPSS 25.The results showed that the communication process in online learning did not affect the effectiveness of communication in online learning at Sukma Bangsa Bireuen High School.This is evidenced by the t count > t table(1.6599 > 0.570).Basically digital not only changes the face of the educator sector, many job patterns are changing due to the widespread digitization in almost every sector of life
