Large Area Precision Machining by Wire Electrodischarge Grinding Method (First Report)〈Fundamental Machining Characteristics of Brass〉

Abstract

This paper describes a precision machining trial of a large area surface by the Wire Electrodischarge Grinding (WEDG) method.The purpose of this trial is to understand fundamental machining characteristics by machining a sample workpiece surface into a simple stepwise profile.
