Growth, Magnetic, and Optoelectronic Properties of Fe Doped MAPbI3 Crystals

Abstract

Abstract Organic–inorganic hybrid perovskite is a wide family in which CH 3 NH 3 PbI 3 is investigated mostly due to its superior optoelectronic and photovoltaic properties in solar cells. The doping in CH 3 NH 3 PbI 3 is an effective way to adjust their properties. Fe is chosen as a dopant and CH 3 NH 3 (Pb 1− x Fe x )I 3 ( x = 0, 0.2, 0.6) single crystals are grown successfully. Their optoelectronic and magnetic properties are investigated. It shows antiferromagnetic when x = 0.6 while others show paramagnetic. The photodetector when x = 0.6 also shows best behavior. It is meaningful to design such ferromagnetic photovoltaic halide perovskite and investigate the role of the doping magnetic elements.
