Developing Teachers And Learners Through The Learning Assistant Program

Abstract

Location: Dewberry Hall Getting evidence-based pedagogy in the classroom, particularly for large lecture classes, can be a challenge. The learning assistant project provides a method for getting those techniques into the classroom. The overall learning assistant experience provides students with a chance to develop themselves as learners while helping other students in the classroom.
