` The research aims to test and analyze the influence between motivation and discipline work against the performance of an employee (a case study in the geological Museum of Bandung) which is the Office equipped with the means of laboratory and the Geological museum to store and demonstrate the geological survey results. The samples used in the study totaled 60 respondents from 60 employees. Methods of data analysis methods used are descriptive and quantitative approach with verifikatif. The technique used is the analysis of path analysis (Path Analysis) is used to indicate a relationship that shows how big the influence of a particular variable influence either directly or indirectly to some of the other variables. The greatest influence given by variables of motivation is 17,38% whereas the influence of variable work discipline is 46,92%. The magnitude of the influence of the variable total of motivation and discipline work against the performance of employees on the go by the size coefficient of determination r2 = 0.644 or amounting to 64.4%. While the outside influence or his wrongdoing amounted to 0.356 35,6% or of then can be drawn the conclusion that the model set up included in the powerful that variable in the study of motivation and discipline work appropriately used to measure the performance of employees in the Museum of geology in Bandung. Based on the results of the above research, it can be concluded that the model formed is included in the strong category so that in this study the motivation variable and work discipline are used to measure the performance of employees at the Bandung Geology Museum.
