PENGARUH KOMPENSASI DAN LINGKUNGAN KERJA TERHADAP KINERJA PEGAWAI (Studi Kasus Pada Karyawan Kantor Museum Geologi Bandung)

Abstract

The research aims to test and analyze the influence between work environment and compensation on performance clerk (a case study in the geological Museum of Bandung) which is the Office equipped with the means of laboratory and geology museum to store and perform a geological survey results.  The samples used in the study totaled 60 respondents from 60 employees. Methods of data analysis methods used are descriptive and quantitative approach with verifikatif. The technique used is the analysis of path analysis (Path Analysis) is used to indicate a relationship that shows how big the influence of a particular variable influence either directly or indirectly to some of the other variables.  The results of this research show that partially and simultaneous Compensation or work environment positive and significant effect against the performance of employees. The greatest influence given by the variable work environments is of 24 % whereas the influence of variable compensation is of 43,66%. The magnitude of the influence of variable compensation and the total work environment on performance clerk in go by the size coefficient of determination r2 = 677 or of 67,7%. While the outside influence or ju of 0,323 or of 32,3% then it can be drawn the conclusion that the model set up included in the category strong that in the study of variable compensation and proper work environment used to measure the performance of employees in the Geology Museum in Bandung. Based on the results of the above research it can be concluded that the model formed belongs to the strong category so that in this study compensation and work environment variables are used to measure the performance of employees at the Bandung Geology Museum. The 28.1% of variables that were not exami ned included organizational commitment, motivation and leadership style, etc. Keywords: compensation, work environment and Employee Performance.
