Efektivitas Penerapan Metode Tilawati Terhadap Peningkatan Kemampuan Membaca Al-Qur’an Siswa Sekolah Dasar Itqan Islamic School Bandung

Abstract

Abstract. Problems that occur in learning to read the Koran in elementary ItQan Islamic school Bandung before using the Ummi method, when learning to read the Koran using the Ummi method is still not felt to be a solution in learning the Koran easily. So, the school changed the learning program to read the Koran by applying a method using the Tilawati method. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the application of the Tilawati method to improve the reading ability of the Koran of 5A grade students at ItQan Islamic School Bandung. The method used in this research is quantitative research with the One Group Pretest Posttest Design approach, which focuses on just one class to be used as research material. The subjects of this study were students of grade 5A at ItQan Islamic school in Bandung. Obtaining data in this study using interview techniques, observation, tests, and documentation. The results showed that: (1) Students' ability to read the Qur'an before using the Tilawati method with an average score of 71.28 at intervals of 56-75 with quite effective categories. (2) For the average results of applying the Tilawati method is 81.6 with a very good category. (3) There is effectiveness in the application of the Tilawati method to improve students' reading ability in the Koran as measured through the SPSS 15.0 application. Based on the calculation results of the N-Gain test the score shows that the average score for the pretest-posttest Tilawati method is 78.6425 (79%) or> 76 included in the effective category. Then concluded that hypothesis 1 was accepted. Keywords: Tilawati Method, Ability to Read the al-Qur'an, Students Abstrak. Permasalahan yang terjadi dalam Pembelajaran membaca Al-Quran di SD ItQan Islamic school Bandung sebelumnya menggunakan metode Ummi, ketika pembelajaran membaca al-Quran menggunakan metode Ummi masih dirasa belum bisa menjadi solusi dalam mempelajari al-Qur’an secara mudah. Maka, sekolah mengganti program pembelajaran membaca al-Quran dengan menerapkan suatu metode dengan menggunakan metode Tilawati. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui efektivitas penerapan metode Tilawati terhadap peningkatan kemampuan membaca al-Qur’an siswa kelas 5A SD ItQan Islamic school Bandung. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan One Group Pretest Posttest Design , yang mana fokus pada satu kelas saja untuk dijadikan bahan penelitian. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas 5A SD ItQan Islamic school Bandung. Perolehan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik wawancara, observasi, tes, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Kemampuan membaca al-Qur’an siswa sebelum menggunakan metode Tilawati dengan skor rata-rata 71,28 yang berada pada interval 56-75 dengan kategori cukup efektif. (2) Untuk hasil rata-rata penerapan metode Tilawati adalah 81,6 dengan kategori sangat baik. (3) Terdapat keefektivitasan penerapan metode Tilawati terhadap peningkatan kemampuan membaca al-Qur’an siswa yang diukur melalui aplikasi SPSS 15.0. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan uji N-Gain skor menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata skor untuk pretest-posttest metode Tilawati adalah sebesar 78,6425 (79%) atau >76 termasuk dalam kategori efektif.
