A cylindrical dielectric-resonator-based millimeter-wave array antenna is presented in this paper. The 1×4 array contains four elements which are equally excited, a fixture to stabilize and align the dielectric resonator antenna, and adhesives to connect the antenna and substrate. The fixture is co-fabricated with the substrate, which requires no extra procedures. The influence of low-permittivity and lot-height fixture, and epoxy glue is under consideration. It is proved that neither the fixture nor glue have obvious influence on the dielectric resonator antenna. Both the fixture and ground plane between elemental antennas are truncated to suppress cross polarization. The array antenna operates at around 25 GHz with a bandwidth of 20%, a gain of about 11 dBi, mutual couplings of about -18 dB, a side lope level of -16 dB, a front-to-back ratio of 15.5 dB, and a cross-polarization suppression more than 50 dB.
