ChemInform Abstract: A Novel Organocatalytic Asymmetric Transfer Hydrogenation of α,β‐Unsaturated Aldehydes.

Abstract

Abstract α,β‐Unsaturated aldehydes (I) react with diimide in the presence of an optically active ammonium salt as catalyst to give the corresponding saturated aldehydes (II) in high yields and enantioselectivities.
