Dual Notched Band UWB Wireless MIMO Antenna

Abstract

In this article, a compact Multiple-Input-Multiple-Output designed on Rogers RTDuroid5880 substrate with dimension $18\mathbf{mm}\times 34\mathbf{mm}$ is presented. Antenna is also capable of mitigating two interfering bands WiMAX (3.24GHz-3.87GHz) and WLAN (4.72GHz-5.64GHz) which are obtained by etching two circular slots on radiating patch. For better impedance matching over entire operating band (2.71GHz-19.35GHz), antenna I fed by tapered microstrip line. Mutual coupling between two antennas which are placed adjacent is found to be - 19.72dB. Also, performance of MIMO antenna is carried out in erm of Envelope Correlation Coefficient (ECC), Directive Gain (DG) and Total Effective Reflection Coefficient (TARC).
