POLA KOMUNIKASI ORGANISASI DALAM MENINGKATKAN MOTIVASI KERJA KARYAWAN DI GAJAYANA TV

Abstract

Abstract: The approach used in reviewing the problem using qualitative descriptive methods. The informant retrieval technique uses purposive sampling technique. Informants in this study include: Managing Director, Station Manager, Head of Program and Production, Technical Staff, Staff News, and Staff Presenter. Data obtained through interviews and documentation. The results of this study are 1) The pattern of organizational communication based on chain communication patterns can increase employee motivation through building individual communication with mutual trust and openness. The application of chain communication patterns is based on the message delivery system applied by structured Gajayana TV. 2) Inhibiting factors include: misinterpretation of messages from recipients, lack of similarity of perceptions in terms of message interpretation. These errors are generally due to the length of work. The solution used is to build two-way communication so that the new ones join are not wrong in interpreting the meaning of the message. Keywords: Communication patterns, Motivation, and Gajayana TV Abstrak: Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam mengkaji permasalahan dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengambilan informan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling . Informan dalam penelitian ini antara lain: Direktur Utama, Manajer Stasiun, Kabag Program dan Produksi, Staff Teknik, Staff News, dan Staff Presenter. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penilitian ini yaitu 1) Pola komunikasi organisasi berdasarkan pola komunikasi rantai dapat meningkatkan motivasi karyawan melalui cara membangun komunikasi individu dengan saling percaya dan terbuka. Penerapan pola komuniasi rantai didasarkan pada sistem penyampaian pesan yang diterapkan oleh Gajayana TV yang terstruktur. 2) Faktor-faktor penghambat antara lain: salah interpretasi pesan dari penerima, tidak adanya kesamaan persepsi dalam hal interpretasi pesan. Kesalahan-kesalahan ini umumnya dikarenakan lamanya bekerja. Solusi yang digunakan yaitu membangun komunikasi dua arah sehingga yang baru bergabung tidak salah dalam menginterpretasikan makna dari pesan. Kata kunci: Pola komunikasi, Motivasi, dan Gajayana TV
