Sobre la manipulación fraseológica

Abstract

The use of phraseological units in novels and in newspaper articles is a clear example of intelligent linguistic creativity. Fixed expressions have the ability to adapt to the contexts in which they are included in various ways. By means of different examples we are going to demonstrate the effectiveness and the potential of phraseological units which have been modified in order to serve different communicative purposes.Key words: phraseology, phraseological units, phraseological manipulation.
