Abstract

(II).The possibility of electrochemical synthesis of copper (II) chloride in a two-chamber electrolysis cell with the anion exchange membrane is studied. The electrolytic cell was placed 70 ml of different concentrations of sodium chloride and two electrodes at a distance of 0.5 cm from each other: copper anode and steel cathode. In the anode chamber solution of copper chloride (II) (CuCl 2 ) is concentrated. In the cathode chamber hydrogen evolution, formation and accumulation of sodium hydroxide occur. The solutions were treated with different current densities for different times. At certain intervals samples were taken for analysis of copper cation (II).The synthesis was carried out in a stationary mode. The optimum process parameters were obtained. The proposed process allows to obtain three products (CuCl 2 , NaOH, H 2 ).
