A n-order ultra wideband frequency selective surface

Abstract

In this paper, we propose a high order novel wide band pass frequency selective surface (FSS). which consist of patch array, lattice array and transmission line (medium layer), the simulation result shows that the 1dB fractional bandwidth of the new FSS is about 50%, the 1dB pass band of three order FSS is from 7.79GHz to 12.49GHz, the insert loss is flat enough in the whole pass band, the suppression in out band increase along with the increasing and the suppression in out band increase to 𢀒15dB at 5GHz.
