High-resolution, dual-comb spectroscopy enabled by a polarization-multiplexed, dual-comb femtosecond fiber laser

Abstract

Dual-comb spectroscopy measurement of a high-Q microring resonator using a polarization-multiplexed mode-locked ultrafast fiber laser is demonstrated, which resolves picometer-wide spectral features in a very simple fiber-optic setup without complicated electronic control.
