Logistics distribution center is an important part of modern logistics system. Running and building expense could be reduced greatly by selecting appropriate address of logistics distribution center. The current location selection by gravity method mostly studied the logistics center location problems without any limitations. The method can reduce the rationality of the selection. The area limitation regarded as time restrictions in logistics center location is presented in this paper. A location model with time restrictions is built. The optimized value and its corresponding location according with time restrictions are confirmed by the function in Matlab optimization toolbox, and an example is calculated to verify the model. The results indicate that the algorithm based on Matlab not only can solve the location problems with time restrictions, but also can solve the traditional location problems without time restrictions. So the optimization algorithm in this paper is more effective than the traditional approach in solving the logistics center location problems.
