Efficient Gd<sup>3+</sup>, Lu<sup>3+</sup> co-doped KY(WO<inf>4</inf>)<inf>2</inf>:Tm<sup>3+</sup> channel waveguide lasers

Abstract

This paper reports on a thulium-based channel waveguide laser with a maximum output power of 149 mW and a record-high slope efficiency of 31.5%, which is a significant improvement in terms of slope efficiency and output power.
