Nd<sup>3&#x002B;</sup>/Yb<sup>3&#x002B;</sup> Co-doped Bi<inf>2</inf>O<inf>3</inf>-B<inf>2</inf>O<inf>3</inf>-TeO<inf>2</inf> glass for solar pumped lasers

Abstract

We have studied Nd 3+ /Yb 3+ co-doped Bi 2 O 3 -B 2 O 3 -TeO 2 glasses for solar pumped lasers, and compared to Nd 3+ -doped Bi 2 O 3 -B 2 O 3 -TeO 2 glasses. Nd 3+ /Yb 3+ co-doped Bi 2 O 3 -B 2 O 3 -TeO 2 glasses show large emission intensity compared to Nd 3+ -doped Bi 2 O 3 -B 2 O 3 -TeO 2 glasses.
