A Delay-Dependent H/spl infin/ Robust Filtering for Piecewise Linear Systems

Abstract

This paper investigates robust filtering design problem for discrete piecewise linear time-delay systems based on a piecewise Lyapunov functional. We propose a novel robust filtering design approach with H infin performances. It is shown that the filtering parameters can be obtained by solving a set of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs) via a way of suitable linearization transformation of matrix variables. A simulation example is also given to illustrate the performance of the proposed approaches
