Abstract

Acompact, printed dual-band antenna forWLANapplications\nis proposed. The radiating elements consist of a combination\nof a printed dipole for the lower resonant frequency and\na bow-tie antenna for the upper resonant frequency. The operation\non two separate bands is guaranteed by the use of two surface-\nmounted-device inductors. The antenna has been manufactured\nin antipodal configuration. Measurement results show good\nomnidirectionality and low cross-polarization levels
