Implementation and interoperability experiences with TINA service management specifications

Abstract

EURESCOM project P715 has carried out an extensive implementation and interoperability experiment with a service management platform between 6 partners spanning Europe. The project has used TINA service management specifications for this work. This paper describes a section of the project which covers our experiences with the Ret and 3rdPty reference point specifications. We conclude that with minor additions Ret achieves the goal of an end user being able to contact a retailer of choice and in addition, the 3Pty/RtR reference point can re-use much of the Ret specification.
