Abstract

Abstract Trivalent lanthanide complexes of the general formula [Ln(Habth)2Cl2]Cl [Ln = La(III), Pr(III), Nd(III), Sm(III), Eu(III), Gd(III), Tb(III) and Dy(III); Habth = 2-aminobenzo-phenone-2-thenoylhydrazone] were prepared and characterized using magnetic moments, molar conductance and UV_VIS, IR and emission spectroscopy.
