Tracking initiation and termination of multiple maneuvering targets in a dense multi-return environment

Abstract

The authors present an all-neighbors Bayes tracking initiation and termination algorithm which is recursive and based on the modified joint probabilistic data association filter with residual filter the modified Bayes track confirmation and tracking termination. Monte Carlo simulation results show that the algorithm has excellent capacities for initiating and terminating the tracking of multiple maneuvering targets in a dense multi-return environment.< >
