Abstract

We present a theoretical analysis of quantum transport properties of a carbon nanotube superlattice consisting of nanotube interfaces repeated periodically. Very peculiar conductance features are obtained due to the periodic structure. While a quantized conductance still exists for the superlattice, their behavior differs greatly from that of a perfect metallic nanotube. These features can be understood from the band structure of the superlattice.
